Pregnancy is a miraculous journey that encompasses not only physical changes but also subtle shifts in the energetic field of both the mother and the child. The concept of the energetic field, often associated with spiritual and holistic practices, has gained recognition in recent years for its potential impact on overall well-being. In this article, we explore the role of mental fitness in realigning the mental energetic field during pregnancy and how that fosters resonance between the mother and child. I. Understanding the Energetic Field:

The energetic field, also referred to as the aura or biofield, is described as being an invisible web of energy that surrounds and interpenetrates our physical bodies. Now for those of you that don’t believe about energy perhaps an easier way to think about the biofield as our body electricity. We are alive because of the body’s ability to generate electrical charge. We are literally like and electric coil with a flow going around and through us. This energetic flows through our body is what animates us. It also means that, essentially are one big magnetic field. We also know from epigenetic research, it is the environment that surrounds our cells which influence whether our genes are switched off or not. And although the energetic field is invisible to the naked eye, it is said to be influenced by our thoughts, emotions, and overall mental state. Thus, it makes sense that during pregnancy your energetic field will undergo profound changes as your body nurtures the growing life within you.

II. Mental Fitness and the Energetic Field:

Our thoughts affect every physical experience we have. In early psychological studies we didn’t know how every was related but now we know that “Consciousness is the Ground of all Being”. And that consciousness is bidirectional. So, we can think things and have a direct affect on the body, a 1st order direction or we can receive signals from the body and respond, a 2nd order. What you may not realise is that our whole body has connections in the brain.

In fact, there is almost a one-2-one somatotopic mapping between the brain and every area of your body which means that, your body takes up a huge amount of real-estate in your brain. Therefore, anything going on with your mind is going to reflect in the body and vice versa.

“When your mind works Everything Works Better” and so, Mental Fitness becomes crucial in realigning the energetic field during pregnancy. Thus, the mind affects the subtle electrical field of energies around us, and when a mother practices mindfulness, meditation, and positive affirmations, she can create a harmonious energetic field for both herself and her unborn child.

III. Resonance Between Mother and Child:

As the mother and the unborn child share an energetic bond, their states of being can influence one another. Research shows that our brain changes alpha and theta frequencies when we go in to mindful meditation. These frequencies are thought to responsible for creating healing, balance and regeneration in our body. The baby live in the “alpha and theta” brain states in during gestation, states which are highly associated with massive growth and transformation.

It is also thought that these brain frequencies enhance telepathic abilities. This may be because when they are both resonating at the same brain frequencies a strong electrical field is created. Should there be any break in field, she is immediately alerted to. This might account for why am mother often recognises when things are going wrong with her child even if, it isn’t showing up yet.
